Wtf Pinterest?

Like most days, I spent the majority of my class time perusing Pinterest. Senioritis has really gotten the best of me. I literally cannot sit through a lecture without getting distracted by some form of social media. We're not allowed to have our phones out in class. And I mean, really... what else am I gonna do when I can't text my best friend about all the idiot people around me?

All this perusing of Pinterest brings me to the point of this post. While I love the majority of the things I see on Pinterest, a few things jump out at me and I couldn't help but being like "what the f, Pinterest?". I mean seriously. What in the world are people thinking when they post/repin something, or worse, actually recreate that pin?! I seriously worry about humanity these days.

Here are just a few of the painful, awe-striking pins I've seen lately:

I'm all about leopard. I really am. Do I need to see it on a man? No.

This eerily reminds me of some 50 Shades of Grey shit. Pass.

Well I know what song will be stuck in my head the rest of the day. I'll always love Blanche, but do I love her enough to have her face on my body? Eh, nah. This tattoo screams deep psychological issues,

If I didn't want friends, I'd totally go out in this makeup.

Last, but certainly not least, the floppy disk coffee table. I haven't seen a floppy disk in close to 10 years. The good news is that a floppy disk won't be seeing my living room ever.

Things I'm Loving

1. Ed Sheeran's album + - Ok, I'm in love. His voice is like a little angel singing in my ear. Every single song is great.
2. Urban Decay Naked Skin Liquid Makeup - I went into Sephora the other day in search of a non-shitty foundation. Fortunately for me, my new BFF/makeup consultant, Dante came right along and helped me pick out the perfect foundation. It was super weird having a guy do my makeup... I'm confident I'd wind up looking like a hooker if Graham tried to do my makeup. Needless to say, Dante is a genius. I'm obsessed with this stuff.
3. Solar and Blossom Candle - My best friend/roomie bought me this candle for my birthday and I can't stop burning it!
4. Braided Strappy Platform Wedge - Neeeeeed for this spring. Yes please.
5. The Mighty Cone - It's no secret I love trailer park food. Luckily for me, a new trailer park opened within walking distance from my apartment and they ever so kindly decided to include my most favorite trailer of all, The Mighty Cone! If you're in Austin, I highly recommend it. Fried food heaven.
6. This hilarious tank - I guess you gathered from #5 that I love food. Muuuuuch more than exercising. This tank could not be more perfect.
7. OliveYewJewels Custom Initial Necklace - I stumbled across this Etsy shop and I pretty much want everything in there. How adorb would this necklace be with mine and G's initials?!
8. J Crew Polka Dot Bikini - I know it's February but I can't help but think it's time for summer with this weird Texas weather.
9. This quote - This quote strikes a cord with my heart. The job hunt has been so frustrating and this gave me some confidence that everything will work out.

In other news, I applied for graduation this week and got approved. I don't know how to feel. Making the switch to real adulthood is scaring the life out of me. It's going to be such a huge change and I just don't feel prepared for it.

Aside from freaking out about the future, life has been so good lately. Graham and I had the best Valentines day. It's a cheesy holiday, but there's something so fun about having a day to give even more love than you normally would.

This weekend we plan on doing a lottttt of relaxing and trip planning! We're going to San Francisco for a few days in March and we're trying to figure out the best places to go, so if you have any recommendations, please let me know!

I'm In Love

and I don't care who knows it.

This weekend, I flew to Nashville to meet my precious, absolutely perfect baby niece, Lanzlee. She's 2 weeks old and may or may not be the most beautiful child I have ever seen. Not that I'm biased or anything... ;)

I have such great relationships with my aunts and am so excited to become one myself. I already love her so much. I can't wait to take her shopping, paint her toenails, and give her back when she pukes on herself after eating an entire bag of Cheetos (sorry again for that, Angie!)

I think her head is going to be the size of Texas before she's even two years old. Everyone that meets her talks about what a pretty baby she is, and I just couldn't agree more. She's just so beautiful! And that hair... oh my goodness.

It's so awesome to see my brother be a daddy. He loves her so much and seeing them together makes me want to cry. He's such a good man; they're going to have an incredible relationship.

Well.. this post took a turn for the sappy... oops. Evidently, love blinds you on you appear to the rest of the world haha.
