G and I are leaving for Dallas, then San Francisco on Saturday, so I ran into Target for a few things I'll need for the trip. An hour later, I left the store with a ton of crap I
definitely needed probably didn't need and don't even remember throwing in my cart. Seriously yall. I don't know how it happens. I literally went in for travel shampoo and left with a couple of sweaters, a pair of wedges, a pair of flats (they were on sale!), and Easter decor. Oh and Easter candy. How could I even forget about that?
I really scored with the Easter candy this year. I almost shit myself when I saw Swedish Fish jelly beans. Two of my favorite candy's as one!? Who even knew? I was also forced to scoop up some Whopper eggs. The sales associate at Target pinned me down on the floor and told me if I didn't buy them, she'd hit me. So I kind of had to.
I'm kind of freaking out on what to pack to San Francisco. It's getting warm in Texas, but a friend from SF told me we're going to freeze our asses off and to pack warm. I don't even know what to bring. We had the most mild winter in all of the Texas winters, so my sweater collection is slim to none. Fortunately for me, Target pulled through with this super cute stripped sweater and this green cardigan.
Also, I'm a firm believer in fate. As a preface to this little tale, I should let you know that I've been needing a pair of brown wedges since last summer. Anyways... I was minding my own business browsing the flats when I saw a glow coming from the heels section. Of course I was curious, so I wandered over, only to find this super cute pair of wedges in my size. The last pair. Anybody who's anybody knows that is a sign straight from God that those shoes belonged to me. So I bought em. The end.
I had to cut my trip early. Mostly because my basket was getting full and Austin has this new plastic bag ban (realllllly frustrating because I always forget my bag) and I was not about to spend an extra dollar on a second reusable bag. One is plenty. But also because I almost went overboard in the baby section. Not only can I not resist the urge to buy a ton of stuff for my precious little niece Lanzlee, my cousin (and bff) Kayla at Little Baby L is prego with a baby girl too. Kay's shower is right around the corner and I literally cannot control myself. I want to buy everything for these little babes! I don't know what I'm going to do when I have a child of my own. Probably file bankruptcy or something.
Anywho, I have candy to eat so I'll catch all you pretties later.

It's OK that I black out every time I enter a Target Store.
